Nero or Costa?

Cappucino or Latté...maybe ristretti? Or fruit tea? Panini - or ordinary stickers? Chocolate twist or millionaire's shortbread?

Stu - you have a busy time ahead!
(I must try a folder 'ere I get older - it might make me bolder, and you'll say "I told ya!")

Well if it slows you down I suppose its worth a try.......xx(

ChrisKH what time you getting to London?

Either 22.35 or 22.43 into Fenchurch St. I'd come a bit earlier but I want to get a bit of kip before I leave. That means I can swing by Liverpool Street between 10.45 and 10.55 if it helps. It really doesn't take that long to get to HPC (20-25 mins) from there. I'll aim for the earlier one so would say 10.45 at Liverpool Street if that suits.

There's an outside chance I may kip down in my office for a couple of hours (get more kip that way!) in which case I'm at Liverpool Street already so I can be there at any time. I won't know about this until tonight though when I have cleared it with 'Il Duce'.

Forecast looks good. Little cool in the early hours (11-14) but no.............no I'm not going to say it. Kiss of death.

Forecast: "there could be trouble ahead...but while there's music and moonlight and dancing etc..." - well, it is the genteel ride to Brighton.

I'm just worried about the gold lamé gown getting crumpled in the panniers. Ginger Rogers never had to deal with this kind of thing.

Excellent! Easily recognisable for doddery old folk like Chris me, that's what I like...

I am giving my gown a miss this time, but I will have gold wheels, chain (and heart)

Oh! And don't forget it's handbags all the way - stuffed full of treats!

Right, I'm off. See you there, Gentlemen. I hope all you hardcore roadies are going to go easy on weak-kneed Swansea commuters...

smooth and somehow slightly unsavoury, I like it

Teef has promised to try and look out of breath and tired at some point during the ride, just to make us all feel a bit better

If you've got a 16-25 railcard then it's a fiver, but you have to buy it in advance.

http://www.southernrailway.com/

If you don't have a card it's £7.50 ( it was only £3 when I went)

If you buy at the station it's £13.

So buy it in advance but you have to pick a train and make sure you get it. You can't change it.
At the speed those old folk lot will be travelling you may want to pick one for late afternoon
