I'll likely be in the market for one of them spare tickets RJ
No way I could cycle back!

Not a problem SD. We might be able to get one moved so they are at the same time.

I doubt I'll be able to cycle back. The distance would be ok, it's just the time I'll have trouble with.

Staying out all night clubbing on Redbull is one thing, staying out all night cycling is something else.;)

You can wake me up when we get to CJ.

Here for rides.

And, redjedi, I refer you to the 'questions, questions, questions' page in the lavish 2009 guide to the FNRttC, wot is in your inbox. I'll be asking questions later...

I love lavish guides, can anyone have a copy? also...

....is my colleague and lovely condor owner Matt Jago "in the pipeline". He claims to have mailed you and has heard nothing back ;) and can't wait to mullah me up Turners Hill and the Beacon (but I'm old enough to be his Dad so it will only get him tiny teeny and very short short-lived bragging rights)

Greg - I've replied to Matt, so all should be well. Yours should be with you soon. You might want to look at it and advise me on the production of another version in which the text is seperated from the pictures.

Excellent - am sure we will be able to use both on whichever of the 2 trains we get. Will sort your out with the ticket ££ on the day

It's only about 45 mins to CJ so shouldn't be too arduous!

As it happens I have bought two tickets back to CJ; one for the 8.19 and one for the 9.19. I'm happy to donate whichever one I don't use (my aim is to return on the 8.19).

Looks like we're sorted boys
All I need to organise now is a new frame and a decent light!

Yep, I've certainly recently triggered one of those flashing "30mph" warning signs (around about here), although it must have been set to more or less trigger at exactly that speed, since I was only just barely doing that speed.

I have two digital speed signs on my commute. I trigger them both.

I'd go for (personal) speed records on the Elorrio — I'm quite comfortable on that. On my last descent in Reigate I was just short of 40mph. I made the mistake of getting caught in a group and had to hit the brakes a few times to avoid other riders.

On the Ribble I am still very much a coward. I'm still not used to the much more forward position, which has me riding the brakes hard even on descents that at one time I'd fly down. Practice, practice, practice, I guess...

thankyou - I hadn't counted this morning. 94 including me.

There will be some cancellations, but I'll start putting new arrivals (other than old hands) in a holding pattern, until Tony has done some calculations.
