I'm ugly - that narrows it down by 'a percentage'.

I'm 'usually' in a CycleChat jersey and riding a carbon Look 361 - funnily enough, tomorrow, I'll probably be wearing Blue/black Lusso top and riding a blue Veneto with gold wheels and chain...with blue white helmet and Tesco's finest blinking into the night...

I'll be carrying a rolled up copy of the Times and sport a red carnation too... (Ditto for Alex

Sorry to go back to lights but is the much-vaunted Tesco torch adequate maybe with another flasher as backup or should I go and buy a Cateye EL530 at £50?

To save you going through the whole thread again, a EL530 should be fine. But if you can get a Hope Vision 1 today, that's the new top pick. Rechargeables turned up on Saturday, so I tried it out briefly, damn fine bit of kit. More expensive than the 530, though.

Met Office are showing clear skies at 1AM on Saturday with temps of around 7oC in London.

I still haven't decided what to wear yet. I'm guessing my fleecy longs, long sleeve base layer but do I go for a short or long sleeve jersey.
I'll also have a cheap windproof jacket in my pocket in case it get really cold.

I'm hoping not to resort to wearing longs, but I'll have them with me just in case. I'll definitely be going with the layered look for my top half.


*But I do reserve the right to slip on some overshoes if it gets really cold.

I can also add that I do not own any Caradice products, nor will I have flask of tea with me. On the other hand I do have dynamo powered lighting, a Brooks saddle and may bring a loaf of Soreen. Can I still be in your club?

absolutely. At this rate you'll be on Council before you know it. Although it helps to be a bit thin on top
