Fond memories of touring Ireland

We started off knocking the Guinness back but quickly converted to the wonderful Murphy's stout. Great pubs,

Oh yeah, the Stout was gorgeous, a completely different experience from anything served in England. The pubs were fantastic too - full of music, song and mirth.
I'm feeling a bit rose-tinted now, but there where some bad memories. For one thing, I will never again make the mistake of touring without any cycling shorts.

I knew an old man used to dip the crown of his trilby in Jeyes Fluid before going to the bog to prevent midget attack

Don't know if it worked but I'm sure he was popular in the pub later.
