I think this is something you probably could've just stuck straight in the microwave, I make spag bol and just stick it in the microwave after freezing for 4/5 mins until its piping hot and eat it so
Think I've hit on how to defrost a shepherds/cottage/Cumberland pie etc in the fridge definitely within a day of it being placed in the fridge. I have a fridge container on a shelf to keep the yoghurts tidy in. I sat the pie across its edges and not being directly on a shelf has done the trick.
