Not sure I totally agree with that. Often contact is minimal but enough to put a player off their stride/shot/pass. The only way this gets noticed is with exaggeration. Bit of a double edged sword really.

Football is a game of fine margins and a bit of confidence goes a long way

I might notice the negativity more having not lived in the UK for 17 years. Though Norway is much like the UK in that respect.
