I decided i'd sunbathe out in the garden area here and wait for cheers or groans from the open windows to give me an indication how we were going on. I didn't hear anything, then at half time one of the residents came out and told me England were 5-0 up. 'Yeah you're having me on,more like 0-0" i said. When i went into her flat to see her telly i couldn't believe it. So how come i didn't hear any cheering?

Today's plan had been watch football, cut grass before next match, watch football.

Unfortunately the 'cut grass' bit didn't go well and I am now in A&E waiting on getting a cut on my foot seen. I went straight to the top of the list of stupid nobbers for wearing flip-flops when using a lawnmower...
