I would like to see some more support for Kane.Sterling who has done work as his name suggests,is not hitting that final important ball.I also don't thinkk he is a out and out forward. But he does cause trouble amongst defenders, but Rashford has a dribble on him, also is big and strong and just as fast.Oh Southgate has a problem,How many more games can he chance Sterling pulling 'that' game out of his talent.Maybe a half each.Starting with Sterling. But this team is good and solid and not one prima donna i am such and such, which has happened before, and too much was laid on shoulders of the like of Rooney and Beckham stop them stop the team. This team has a better package,go on just do it.

Sterling is quick but his lack of awareness in the box is the problem he keeps running and dribbling like a kid in the playground until he's boxed in if he looked around there is usually someone he can get the ball to.

Did you miss the amazing run through midfield that Sterling put in to set up a sitter for Kane that he put inches wide?

I can't believe the amount of stick he gets. He was brilliant yesterday - not perfect, but brilliant. By far England's most creative player. And only denied a goal for himself by a superb save from the Swedish keeper.

He is pants. Always in two minds and wastes chance after chance. He reminds me of a thunder birds puppet.

I also think Rashford is still very much underplayed. I understand that Southgate is using him late as long as it's for impact, yesterday's game looked like he got on simply for the time-wasting effect of substitutions. I really hope he's being used sparingly so he can be the secret weapon. One thing I'll say about Sterling: he's fit, he's fast, he's a real worker. The problem is that I don't think even he knows what he's going to do next!

Rashford is still only 20. He’ll get his chance. And it’s very exciting to be an England fan when you’ve got young players like him and Trent keeping the more established squad members on their toes.

Vardy has looked largely ineffective in this tournament. He doesn't drop deep enough to build play and so they just hit long balls to him which he isn't tall enough to get
