Maybe it's had some hard days and nights?

It needs some Help! It looks like its been dumped in a Norwegian Wood. The dealer must be a real Nowhere Man to sell a car in that state. All My Loving couldn't make that car look good again. Fortunately I'm Free as a Bird to look at other cars with a Girl called Eleanor Rigby, who'll be sure to Please Please Me. If the dealer didn't do me a deal I'd Twist and Shout as I walked away across Strawberry Fields.

I've just checked it - turns out it's a Ringo-er, sadly. Best leave it at the back of the drive to clatter away.

That won't make a difference. Another factor - where are you parking it?
On the homes private car park.

If it's a proper garage with controlled access, CCTV etc then I agree. If it's just a parking lot then leaving a car you can open with a pair of scissors is going to be £££ to insure.
It doesn't have all that, but it's overlooked by plenty of nosey gits. Mind you,if someone was breaking into a car they'd most likely ignore the crime, but report to the warden the following morning, moaning that the break in woke them up.

For an insurer that means unsecured.

So, a new driver, a car with a tent for a roof, unsecured parking... That is going to be pricey.

Don't buy a cabriolet, just roll the windows down.
