Then the search continues! They come with a few different engines, I would say unless it has impeccable service history then it is a bit expensive for the mileage.

So you think it'd be alright then? They're made in Slovakia and powered by the KR1E Toyota engine. The only French thing about them is the salesman's cologne.
They're very tough, reliable, cheap to run, easy to work on, and a hoot to thrash - the nearest noughties equivalent to the spirit of the original Mini. For a spell in the late 00s the C1 and 107 were the slowest depreciating cars on the market, such was the demand.
Probably not. As you can see from the replies,we like talking cars. If you don't like it just don't tune in!Any chance it can do so without the running commentary?
My Niece has just bought one, (55 plate I think), and she loves it.So you think it'd be alright then?
How would a 1 litre C1 perform on the motorway though? I remember yon 1 litre Micra i had,not being able to pass Juggernauts on the motorway. Talk about giving me panic attacks!!I've not seen it! But don't be frightened by the mileage - I know a driving instructor who took two to almost 200,000 each with no problems.
I bought one for the Missus' 30th Birthday and was so taken with it I bought myself one a few months later, and rose through the ranks to become 2IC and forum Admin of the owners club
Give one a whirl, I think you'll be surprised. Engine technology has come on a long way in recent years. How would a 1 litre C1 perform on the motorway though
With eyesight as bad as yours the lack of oomph may not be a bad thing (for all the other road users)How would a 1 litre C1 perform on the motorway though? I remember yon 1 litre Micra i had,not being able to pass Juggernauts on the motorway. Talk about giving me panic attacks!!![]()
Or ask the seller to drop the price by 2 or 3 hundred quid?No problems in the motorway, they are a great little car, I just feel with a little effort you may find a lower mileage one for your money.
The lack of power is irrelevant, as i've never liked driving at fast speeds or taking chances. With eyesight as bad as yours the lack of oomph may not be a bad thing (for all the other road users)
Where was that Streetka at you pointed out this afternoon?
