I've not seen it! But don't be frightened by the mileage - I know a driving instructor who took two to almost 200,000 each with no problems.

I bought one for the Missus' 30th Birthday and was so taken with it I bought myself one a few months later, and rose through the ranks to become 2IC and forum Admin of the owners club

Another thread I cant believe has made it past two pages, and here am I contributing to it. Somehow weirdly fascinating to see how someone's mind "works", from one remove on the 'net. I dropped in to the forum tonight to search out info on fixes for 105 ultegra mechs / brifters, but just can't help but wonder at this rollox. Absolutely convinced the OP will buy one of the worst secondhand car choices, despite all the advice to the contrary. Why anyone chips in with advice is beyond me: it's CC's answer to a black hole....

My Niece has just bought one, (55 plate I think), and she loves it.

I worked for a Peugot dealer when they came out and they amazed me with their peppy pace and interior space. The 3 pot engine can sound harsh but it never bothered me.

Early cars had weak clutches and some exhaust back box issues but these were sorted out quickly enough. Any car from first facelift onwards should be fine.

As Drago suggets it's basically a rebadged Toyota Aygo.

At one point the Peugeot 107 outsold the Aygo and C1 so have a look at those as well as there'll be more available.

How would a 1 litre C1 perform on the motorway though? I remember yon 1 litre Micra i had,not being able to pass Juggernauts on the motorway. Talk about giving me panic attacks!!

Give one a whirl, I think you'll be surprised. Engine technology has come on a long way in recent years.

With eyesight as bad as yours the lack of oomph may not be a bad thing (for all the other road users)

Fine on the motorway. Not the ideal car for it, but they can hold their own on the occasional motorway jaunt.

Avoid they Aygo though. Toyota restyled it quite heavily to distance it from its cousins, but all they did with their chopping and changing was make the doors leak water, a problem which was never satisfactorily resolved during the models lifespan.

The lack of power is irrelevant, as i've never liked driving at fast speeds or taking chances.
