Morecambe Bay, can see a water depth of 35 - 40 feet!!!
I've run over it, in a 1/2 marathon, & it's a scary place out in the middle (even when you know it's waymarked & done at the best time, for the low-tide)

There's one nearby to me, Watery Gate Lane known as Thurlaston Watersplash when I was a kid is normally only a few inches deep until it rains.
