Forgot my Shoes???

Misses picked me up yesterday and I bunged my bike and kit in the car, this morning filled my rucksack with my change of clothes but forgot to put in my shoes, I usually leave them at work....doh?
So im now walking around the office in my socks....purple socks at that!!

Ha - a guy in the office I worked at forgot his change of clothes, so he spent an entire working day in his sweaty cycling kit!

I've done that, fortunately I work in a car dealership so I just grabbed a loan car and got home and back in time. Driving in bare feet is weird though.

I forgot my socks once. Had to get dressed into my police uniform minus socks, walk into M&S and buy a multi pack. I then just sat in the shop and put them on. At least it was early and not at all busy...
And I now keep spare everything in my locker!

I'd recently bought my self a new pair of cycling shoes.

Then one Sunday I had entered a race an hours+ drive away. Got there and took my kit out of the back of the car, only to realise that I had mixed my shoes up and brought 2 left shoes!

End of my ambitions for the day.

Wouldn't be the first time I'd turned up after commuting to work and forgotten my uniform.
When I was in SCBU it was fine I as I wore scrubs, but on the wards...
Luckily there was usually someone who had a spare hanging up but I soon learned to leave one at work just incase.

I would have thought the socks did not matter if they were coming off later.

Been there, done that. Not in purple socks though; however I had to do a lecture in socks.

I commute in spds so a mtb shoe is a fall back on the few times I've taken my work shoes home by mistake.

I have to wear "safety boots " at work , it would be like a brick in each pannier if i carried them about so they stay at work .

My first (and only thus far) fnrttc - asked the mrs to drop me to the station as i was getting late for the train ..... Forgot my mtb shoes and overshoes. It rained a lot on that ride and the sneakers kept slipping of the pedals
