Happened to me too. If true (and probably is) then she is much further along in the breakup process than you are. Once behind in the emotional separation, it's like being gapped while the person in front of you rides away seeming to be doing better than you at the time.

As the others have said, keep your chin up, talk it over with safe friends and be prepared for a new layer to life.

She said the other month i could go with her blessing,she wouldn't stand in my way.
In the past i've mentioned about me and her going but she just dismissed the idea.She knows i haven't been happy around here for a while. Why go and find someone else though.Maybe she's going through one of those midlife crisis things?

I really feel for you I was in a similar position less than a year ago. She basically turned around and told me she no longer loved me.

It later transpired she said that to make it easier for her.

Keep your mind occupied with things that make you happy and takes your mind off all that's going on around you.

I am going to be blunt. Get off social media and man up, talk to her and find out why she is unhappy. Yes it will be a difficult situation, yes there will be probably be tears and anger, cheap insults and more.

If you don't face the problem it is only going to escalate. It will not go away.

If the worst is going to happen you want it as amicable as possible as lawyers as courts are ruthless when it comes to dividing everything up!

That's why i've been spending more time cycling than working i reckon. It makes me happy whereas work means endless hours of doing something physically challenging but not mentally. So i'm thinking about it constantly when out working.

If it's too hard to talk to each other at home, go and see a counsellor together, even if it's just to talk about how to end.

My ex told almost all of our friends she was leaving me 2 weeks before she left me. She left while I was at work, I came home and all her clothes and stuff was gone an a note saying "it's over, don't call me". I never knew she was going to leave. None of our friends had the balls to tell me.We never had a chance to talk after, she didn't want to. I never had closure. We had been together for 11 years.

Talk to each other before it's too late.
