"Some infinities are bigger than others", as those of us who have cried our eyes out reading "The fault in our stars" have etched on our memories, along with "the world is not a wish-granting factory" and "I'm on a roller coaster ride that is only going up"
As I previously mentioned on negative infinity but several other people have since mentioned without further explanation (I am guessing that longshot was paying attention in his statistical mechanics classes), here you are in more detail
... but then nothing can be smaller than infinity either... just one's perception of where you are within it!
Thanks Marinyork, I enjoyed that... but some of the concepts are incredibly hard to grasp... like negative infinity and time.
