frame damage?

Ive seen this bike for sale, the guy says the laquer was damaged in transit.

its a specialized roubaix so CF, is this likely to keep on flaking off? and think it could be worse then just the paint?, thanks )

looks like paint damage, but it must have been a fair blow to chip the paint off that much, so there may be a slight amount of structural damage that isn't obvious to the naked eye.
It could be fine for many years, or it could fail spectacuarly in a sprint. More likely to be fine, but it's a roll of the dice

I disagree.
The frame could have fallen over onto a sharp edge.
The lines look strange to me.
I have smashed a carbon frame with a hammer. Ok it was no easy task as carbon is extremely hard (depends where and how you hit it). But after about 10 very hard hits with a big hammer it cracked like a star with lines going out from the central point.
A bit like the picture.
