frame protector

I've just bought a packet of stick on frame protector things. I can see where the chain stay bit goes, but there are numerous circular stickers as well. I have no idea where these would go. Can anybody shed any light on this?

I put them where the brake and gear cables rub against the frame. ie at the front stem

For cable rub protection?

Anywhere where the cables might rub e.g. stearing tube, seat tube (from the rear brake cable housing) etc. Best bet is to look at your bike and see where anything touches the frame and stick one on

Make sure you get the frame spotlessly clean and use a degreaser before you apply the stickers. Even a very thin sheen of oil will stop the adhesive working properly.
