I have just seen this on my frame top i have a few rub marks on the forks from the brake and gear cables but this looks like a key mark, you can run your hand along and feel the scratch. any ideas how i can make it good? can i use T-cut like a car or whats the bike version.

This may not help much but when I thought mine had a scratch (it actually wasn't) I thought back to when I were noubt bura lad.....we could get bike transfers which covered all scratches and we used them liberally. I have tried googling without success-I wonder if they are still available.

what is the frame made from? eg. steel, alu, Ti or carbon?

a bit of polishing wax might improve it but it wont go completely! Be careful with polishing though - wouldn't want to make it worse.

its an ali frame... mm so a bit of gently t-cut followed by a wax and polish (like a car)? i do and have car waxed the frame and bike to help keep it clean and shiny.
