Yeah, 23c tyres and mudguards fit no problem. I've had 25c tyres on it recently without guards and the bike feels a bit better, regarding vibration etc.Doesn't the Ribble winter frame normally come with mudguards? Have you asked Ribble for suggestions?
I have 25mm tyres and SKS chromoplastics on my 2013 Genesis Equilibrium 20, the frame with carbon fork cost me £400 as end of line
I also used to have 25mm tyres and Crud guards on my Giant Avail (wsd version of Defy). The Cruds are crud IMO but Giant's own guards fit and are much better
I've a blue Ribble winter frame, 25c tyres and guards do not fit.
Going to have to bit the bullet and get a new frame so I can fit some 25c tyres and mudguards.
Does such a frame exist?
Thanks!
Yes the Kinesis Racelight models is one such example (I think they've renamed the TK2 as T2)I've a blue Ribble winter frame, 25c tyres and guards do not fit.

Have you already tried mudguards designed for minimum clearance frames such as the Crud Road Racer II and SKS etc?
Yeah. Problem is the area around the bottom bracket. 1mm to spare literally.
It's the the gp4000 tyres. More the height yes at bb area. Though there's maybe 2mm max width wise everywhere. The same around the brake bridge regarding height. I think it's a 100% no go, just spied the Kinesis t2 frame. In love. What bugged my about the Riibble anyway is the RIBBLE RIBBLE RIBBLE RIBBLE Plastered all over it. Garish. So not the width of the tyre, more the height? Are you using p* resistant tyres? They seem to be taller. Definitely worth looking at other 25mm tyres first...
