Most of you who've signed up should have received an email late Monday night and can expect a final update due to go out shortly.
Three of you, however, may have made mistakes in entering your email addresses on the sign-up form as we've had... gulp... BOUNCE BACKS! (The Shock! The Horror!)

@RoubaixCube @CharlieB If you've wondering why you haven't had any emails about the ride... please contact @Flying Dodo aka Shoreham Flight Leader via the Fridays email address (as on website) asap so he can update your details.
If Greg T is on CC and watching this thread, his is the 3rd bounce-back so could he get in touch as well?

Thanks!

As someone recently asked me, 'Where's your sense of adventure?' Mine doesn't mind a bit of water, yours shouldn't either ;)

You have not received any emails because the email address you put in the sign-up form does not work. Emails sent to that address bounce-back as undeliverable. Please go to the website and get the Fridays email address and send a fresh email to us from an email account that works. Then Adam will have your (correct) email address.

@Flying Dodo I've just had the email that mentions routes to Shoreham station, and they are weird! From the airport building, a left and then a right takes you to the toll bridge over the river, which is a bridleway and ok for cyclists. It emerges onto a cycle path at the mini roundabout shown on your maps. It's much quicker and quieter than using the main roads.

You can go that way of course, but it's longer, as you're doubling back, as it's a long slog north along the perimeter road up to the old toll bridge. The short way listed in the email is the quickest way, as you come out right next to the bridge into town. I personally wouldn't bother with the main airport access road, but I only mentioned it for those who only follow roads.

Not trying to be funny, but im subscribed to your mailing list and i have received emails from the Fridays before. Could it be that Adam entered my email address incorrectly?

Anyway. Im looking on the fridays website and all i can find is the email for the membership at the ctc.

Send me a PM confirming your correct email address.

Ta.

I was thinking more A283 for just over two miles then Small Dole, Oreham Common, Woodmancote and Blackstone. That joins up with our normal route north via Wineham.
I can see why you'd want to take this route. Its shorter and probably slightly flatter but its just not as fun a road to cycle along. It s ok as far as lack of traffic is concerned except the short A283 bit. This could be avoided by taking the parallel route to the A283 we shall be coming down.

Our email address is at the bottom of every email you will have received.
The 'wrong' email address is the one entered by you when you filled out the sign up form.
Please remember, you do not have a place on the ride until all your ducks are in a row. It is now urgent that you make contact, as Adam has requested above.

Checked through emails as best as i could from my smartphone as im at work right now. I can't find a contact email address on them apart from a Facebook, Twitter and a link to your forums.

Ive forwarded my details to flying dodo more than a week ago trying to update my details so its not as if i havent tried to rectify the issue but yet its still 'my fault'

If i am blocked from participating then consider my subs to the fridays cancelled. I will not be treated or spoken to in this manner
