I'm vaguely toying with the idea of cycling n+1, but I haven't had a chance yet to adjust the seat height, fit any pedals, or any of the other odds and sods which I need. Cycling a brand new bike, with controls I'm not used to, and in a group ride may be a really bad idea.

As indeed am I. Learning to ride a (coaster braked kick down) SA S2C hub geared bike on a FNRttC. Why ever not? 'course it depends if the back wheel gets delivered from SJS cycles and I can build the front one in time.

Go us! (or is it we?). Anyway, until a couple of hours ago I was resigned to not being able to make it after all. Then I had a Good Phone Call and all was well again.
