that's about 46 - which may or may not be a record for 24 hours. The odd thing is that people are now registering earlier and earlier, and, if you factor in cancellations, the numbers actually go down in the two weeks before the ride. Which is another way of saying that I'm not panicking, having told 360 FNRttCers that it wouldn't fill....

That has been noticed...

We would ask the jury to note that the defendant has only ONCE stayed behind for the apres ride conviviality. This lone incident cannot be used to besmirch the defendant's stirling reputation as a fine and upstanding member of the community. We are not in a position to comment on the REPEATED attendance by others at this frequent velo-soiree...

Can I have a go, mate? Having missed last weekend's for the dubious pleasure of skating 26 miles around a rain-soaked Berlin, I'd like to be in on this one.

Actually, that's an arguable point, some people claim that only Perry made from Perry Pears is actually Perry, and hence some drinks (made with concentrates) are referred to as Pear Cider.

Admittedly others (largely those brewing using concentrates!) consider any of this class of drink made with Pears to be Perry.

So, it's not quite as clear cut as your posts suggests!

Stuff made with apples is generally referred to as Cider (unless it's Scrumpy!)

Truesay Tim, although the amount pressed at any one time has to be strictly controlled. Maximum of 2239lbs at any one time, I understand.
Otherwise the workforce get a nasty dose of 'perry ton it is' - it's not pleasant!
