it was very mild down here during the night Paul and looking the same tonight. I shall be wearing bib shorts, spesh vest and fnrttc ss jersey, with armwarmers and a showerproof windcheater as back up.

warm night in Horsham last night. I'll be in similar clothes, bibs, Friday's SS jersey, gilet, armwarmers and a showerproof layer. Doubt you need much more.

I'm bringing many layers - I always get cold at the halfway stop and the pub breakfast stop. My bike no longer has a rack on it but it still has squeaky (but working) brakes - anyone fancy helping me to sort them out a HPC?

As I have the gall to have a rack and bring a pannier I'll be taking two spare layers just in case. I find I cool down very quickly too - my body gets lazy while cycling and just stops bothering to keep me warm. I'll be happy to have a look at your squeaks but I'm sure there'll be more competent folk around!
