I have many plans

Might these include reminding The Old Bill of who we are and what we do, thus avoiding the possibility of a misunderstanding in these, er, troubled times?

I recall the arrival of those two gentlemen in blue on motorbikes before the Southend ride. Mind you, had I been arrested and spent a night in the cells it would have been more comfortable than that ride, and warmer too.

the problem with that is that the Met is such a diffuse body (and there are now police officers from other forces here as well) that whoever you tell is not going to get the message out. All I can do is to point out that we're going about something completely above board, and that Special Events have been informed.
