what's disappointing is that I've used the same joke twice, and nobody has ever connected Hudson and Nabors. Ah, well...
I wasn't there! It's probably just an old joke....Is "connected" a euphemism, was it even consummated?
Apocalypse Now?I might even start taking requests. Jules et Jim? Il Conformista? Rome Open City? Sunset Boulevard?
Let's hope for good weather for the Normandy tour so I won't suggest "Les parapluies de Cherbourg".I might even start taking requests. Jules et Jim? Il Conformista? Rome Open City? Sunset Boulevard?
that's about it. Looking at the list, which is now about 90 strong, I would think this would be a slow ride. If you're one of nature's athletes and head down from the top of the Beacon you might get to the Madeira at about 7.45. If you hang around and applaud people as they crest the summit you might get in about 8.20. Thereafter it's up to you - there will still be people there at 11.00, and, possibly, beyond. Not wanting to interrupt the pinky goodness of this thread, as it were, but what's the form on arrival at Brighton??? Do some people go straight back on the train, do some ride back, do some hang around for merriment for a wee while?
Just wondering how and when I'll get home and also I might need to get the excuse gland working on a feasible one for for the good lady wife...
