It's a bit more complicated than that...
But above that bit it does say that Olympic and Paralympic games restrictions will apply.
Yes - and they then go on to talk about restrictions for the road race.

One week in advance is a little tight to invent a new restriction - it certainly wasn't there last time I went through a SWT station (last Thursday).

Riding back it is then!

If anyone fancies a slow ride to south west London (Wimbledon / Kingston / Sutton) area let me know and we can plan a route if not I probably follow the masses and turn off when close.

Still part of the team !
It was partly the thought of a leisurely ride back that attracted me to this trip.
I wouldn't be able to keep up with a "Team Fast" sprint back to London Village.
With luck, I'll have time for a pint before I head off to Euston; my train isn't until 17.00.

I'll be heading back to Surbiton. Definitely in need of a slow ride back.

I'd love someone from Stagecoach to explain why they feel the need to ban bikes from the entire SWT network during the Games, even the Isle of Wight, and even on routes and at times that will simply not be carrying anyone to or from events. My usual FNR train leaves 2124 Portsmouth & Southsea, gets into Waterloo 2319. There are a few events running that late, but you wouldn't have time to get to the venue and see anything. And many of the trains on that line have dedicated bike spaces, not just a bit of floor with fold-down seats, so they're not making more room for passengers much of the time. Nuts.
Good job I've got a folder just in case I do encounter any jobsworths....
