regrettably Mumblies is, with Frinton-on-Sea, one of the two 'dry towns' in the UK. There is no beer.

That’s a nice beer teef, available in bottles all year round - get mine from Bacchus in Crickhowell, shlurp!

I'll probably just have a small glass of organic water and a fairtrade hessian en croute.

DZ is teasing- there is a pub on the pier, owned by our hosts. I thought it unwise to begin negotiations with "I'm looking for somewhere to get shitfaced en masse in lycra by 9am", so we'll need to play it by ear...

I got bumped from the first B&B that I had booked in Mumbles. They blamed it on an email going astray, but now I wonder if you might have tipped them off....?

It was 'Teef's recommendation!

I'm now at Langland Bay House, which looks ok but isn't quite so conveniently located (ie I have to ride up a bonus hill to get there when we've finished our long, leisurely brunch)

I tried half a dozen places: it looks like the town is pretty full that weekend. If anyone isn't booked yet, don't delay, or you'll end up in Llanelli!
