I carry spares for those, because the batteries are very small. It uses CR123As, which are expensive, so I use the rechargeable RCR123As, which supposedly last around four hours in these lights. Since I carry a spare set for each light, I actually have four batteries on me, which would last sixteen hours for one light. Given that sunrise is at around six thirty at the moment, that's more than enough.

Do rechargable batteries have a cell by date?

Hello all

What are we doing when we get to the seaside? (After eating of course). Guess some will ride back.

Anyone hanging about for a beer? If so I can book a train for Clapham Junction to leave at a specified time about 12/1/2ish for a fiver.

Pity to go all that way and not make Saturday morning into a Friday night.

I could be persuaded to have a drink or two or six

It's a certain person's 30th that weekend so I reckon it would be rude not to have a beer or 3! :-)

Last year, on a Bognor ride, I got sunburnt after sitting around outside the cafe and partaking of a beer or three. Oddly enough, I don't generally think to pack sunblock for a night ride.

Does anyone know where I can get a spare rubber spacer thingy for my hope vision 1 bracket, I've managed to lose a thick one and the thin ones aren't big enough to make the bracket fit? Thought I'd ask here as almost every other FNRTCCer seems to have a hope light. Sorry if this is a bit off topic.
