Yes, please, Simon - abandoning thoughts of a Dun Run for another year...and I am not getting any younger...and don't tell me that none of us are, it just becomes a more critical matter, as you will all discover.

I've already signed up to team slow, elsewhere, for the Dun Run - and am nowhere near insane enough to attempt both in the first weekend of the school jollidays, which is the traditional time for everybody who works in education to catch up with all the lurgies that they haven't had time to be ill with all term. Plus I've already bought and paid for my train tickets, and I'm possibly not genteel enough anyway! But it sounds lovely... maybe next year?

I'm going to be rude and refuse, much as I'd like to see the great man in nicotine-fuelled action again. I've already used up my 'go' for this month. ;)

got my free hub serviced today. Apparently DT Swiss hubs are known to sound like high heels.
