Good one Al - we'll have you up to 90kph this year. Bury Hill back from Bognor...:becool:
anybody who does 90kph on that one will leave an almight skidmark on the lefthander at the bottom.

:becool: Only on the inclines was I last... well, after MacB bonked anyhow..

As for flats and declines, I was more than pulling my weight.. surely! hehehe!

No triple will ever grace my Zebra Teef, but I am going to go down to a 34tooth bottom ring as the 39 just lets me down on these rides where there are hills...
what! you have more thigh inches than teeth on your little ring!!!! Something wrong there, matey! You'll be putting a 25 on the back next....

the south side or the north side? I had a tyre blow out on the north side, and considered giving myself to Jesus for a while by way of thanks for my survival.

Bury Hill is a demon, but the one immediately to the west of that at Duncton is an absolute horror - the road is smoother, but the bend at the bottom has a double apex - clip the first and you're fighting oncoming traffic on the second. I hope, one day, to see Tigerbiten do it, lights ablaze!

Someone told me you spend too much time on the 'far side' Ben! :becool:

South side. It was on the main LTB ride. Both sides of the road were closed, but nobody else seemed to have spotted this, so I had the right-hand side of the road to myself. :becool:

Look, I've only rolled the trike once! Ok, twice, but once was at low speed up a grass bank so doesn't count. Despite the hundreds of witnesses ...

I have to say the level of interest is (forgive the word) unremitting. I'm fielding about ten e-mails a day - although a large proportion are repeats.

I see Southend as a gentle intro, so I'm going out to Junction 31 to have another chat with the extremely disobliging person who now runs it. What I may do is to advise the afficionados to pack cake rather than queue.

Chris, the proprietor of the Rose, says he can handle a big ride, so, as of now, I'm considering letting it rise to 90 or so, knowing that Whitstable, Bognor and the 'genteel' ride to Brighton will be smaller

And voted that way ever since.
That's true: as for most elections my approach was to meet the candidates, quiz them on the issues that mattered most to me and then vote for the individual in whom I had most confidence, I have voted for Labour, Libdem and Tory candidates in different elections.

True!
That is one of the advantages of age...every party can have a lump of one's franchise!

To Simon: "Can we sit upstairs at The Rose please Chris?" ;) "Oh - and extra chips please."
