In Mid-Sussex we have thunder, lightening and hail stones alternating with torrential, 'I can't see the other side of the road' rain.

In North-Kent we had 15 minutes of steady, but far from spectacular rain.

I'm sorely tempted to risk the wrath of several of the lesser Gods and leave my waterproofs at home tomorrow.
