Ca fera du bien. Mais je ne suis pas petit! Also, I'm supposed to be in Sweden doing the Vatternrunden with Des but work 'problems' are taking their toll unfortunately, and it is a bit out of my control at the moment...(I even put down a week's holiday too!) One of those things, which is why I'm not even signed up for this ride (much to eveyone's relief I'm sure!)

Edited because I can't spell - in either languish, er language. The bad news for Adrian is, adam, that if I am pinned to the UK, I'l try and be riding along the road at the same time as everyone else on that Friday. Work might have gone bust by then

At least without us there, it means poor Adrian will get a nice rest at the back, and won't get picked on to waymark all the time, like usual.

Hi, a mate and I want to do this but have stupidly left it until now to do anything about it.

Too late? Happy to post a cheque by hand if we're not...

So who are the runners and riders for the Sprint for Breakfast Stakes?

I'll be with no gears, no ideas... you may think 'the usual'. But then I could bring the Ti snakemobile and wipe out the 'Skaters' on the run in, leaving you a clear run to the bar, breakfast Fay, Adrian. But then again, I will bake some cakes if I have a saddlebag thing, and sit at the back swigging cognac, helping those in need.

(Hey - This FNR thread is PRIVATE! We can say what we like in here  ... no other curmudgeonly souls will venture in and castigate riders for imbibing en route, eating, having fun etc... )

Probably not me this time. I started at the back last time, to make it interesting, and gave it a bit of a lash. Passed quite a few people but nearly got forced into a car when someone I was overtaking did a bit of a veer to the right. Couldn't catch the fastest two or three guys but I did manage to overhaul Davy Walnuts, before he got me back in the final sprint.

Actually, thinking about it, it was fun; might have another go...

As I mentioned, Frank - wipeout!

Fastest two or three... Thom, Matt and Ed perhaps? Matt is a Barrymachine. Thom is stepping up his marathon training... they press on the pedals and 'Boom!'
