I catch the fast train back via Stratford (well, only as far as Stratford). But... I will be sticking around for the post-ride rehydration session, so don't plan on leaving before noon.

Then again, may be leaving slightly earlier. Just received an invitation to a BBQ that afternoon down in Honour Oak Park. Probably not a good idea to arrive there directly from Whitstable, be-lycra'd, sweaty and drunk. So... I'll need to go home, freshen up and change - but I still expect to turn up at the BBQ pissed. :-D

Ahh, memories of last year come back to me soo well... I am quite sure we didnt get the train till gone 4pm, bought an HS2 extension, rather than a full ticket home, and got away with it, and overall, remember very little... I wish you well buddy...

Liz's road diversions are a complete nightmare. There's nothing going on on any of the closed roads, but there are private security goons stationed at each entrance specifically to turn cyclists away. I got funnelled down the road from HPC to Victoria station at rush hour this morning, trying to avoid squishment between a skip lorry and a green line coach.
