Restored to the lists and I was sent an email!
Anything you said was taken down and used in evidence, Titush.

AKA Bob

Riding a folding bike far too much of the time...
Dellzegg, you may find it useful to recce the ride between Hyde Park Corner and Birdcage Walk as they have just sealed off Constitution Hill and 'Birthday Cake' in preperation for the Jubilee. May have to travel round the south of Buckingham Palace via Grosvenor Place or take a whole new route along Piccadilly and head down Pall Mall to the Mall and Horse Guards Approach?

They are currently sealing off parts of Bromley for Betty's visit in the morning. Police and Streetcleaning vehicles everywhere. Must be costing a fortune and folks trying to get to work together can give up on buses (diverted) or using the car parks (without being 'registered'). Cyclists will need to bunnyhop the 3ft barriers.

That woman is a real menace. She don't pay road tax and I bet they drive her through the red lights ... but then how else can you get the gutters swept these days?

Crowds are gathering as I write, full of happiness and expectation...

Meanwhile, in another part of town...

"Damn it! I spend time befriending one of London's finest and he can't do better than to tell me that the most attractive part of the ride is fubared. And what's the sign for a missile going to be, when I give the safety talk?"

It's a bit more complicated than that...

It's been reported (anonymously) to TfL as "unregistered roadworks blocking the road". I went down there yesterday morning and had to cut (illegally) through Green Park because no-one had thought to sign a bike route diversion. The joggers were not happy.
