Better late than never, welcome, you will enjoy the ride.Hello, I'm a bit late to the party with this but I've just sent an email asking to be included.

They are currently sealing off parts of Bromley for Betty's visit in the morning. Police and Streetcleaning vehicles everywhere. Must be costing a fortune and folks trying to get to work together can give up on buses (diverted) or using the car parks (without being 'registered'). Cyclists will need to bunnyhop the 3ft barriers.
That woman is a real menace. She don't pay road tax and I bet they drive her through the red lights ... but then how else can you get the gutters swept these days?
It's been reported (anonymously) to TfL as "unregistered roadworks blocking the road". I went down there yesterday morning and had to cut (illegally) through Green Park because no-one had thought to sign a bike route diversion. The joggers were not happy.Dellzegg, you may find it useful to recce the ride between Hyde Park Corner and Birdcage Walk as they have just sealed off Constitution Hill and 'Birthday Cake' in preperation for the Jubilee. May have to travel round the south of Buckingham Palace via Grosvenor Place or take a whole new route along Piccadilly and head down Pall Mall to the Mall and Horse Guards Approach?
The cafe in Whitstable serves beer and has a balcony overlooking the sea. Not sure if people will make it to LMNHI can't make this ride but might schlep up to LMNH for breakfast on the Saturday if anyone will be heading that way afterwards?
