All things being equal and thats mainly the weather and not being completely wreaked I am planing on cycling home after this one. I have managed it comfortably from Southend a couple of times now, so this would be the next step up.
Living north of the river I was planning to head back down to Gravesend on the direct route, then cross on the ferry before heading up to Brentwood and home. I'd be happy for some company if anyone heading that route as well, all or part of it.
training! And a teenage party to provide for. Steering was very, very light, though!Too blooming late now boss! Although it is a plan for the future....

There's a submarine?? You'll be telling me there's a castle next!!!Will we still be going past the submarine?
If you're cycling back, you're welcome to drop it off at my mother's house in Greenwich and pick it up on the way back - she's in most of the time and I can give you her phone number to make sure that she will be in when you arrive. It's less than half a mile off the route so it wouldn't hold the ride up. Obviously, if you're training it back, it would be a faff doubling back to Greenwich from...er...wherever the trains stop. Not a lot...sorry! This Friday, as on a lot of recent rides, I'll be coming straight from work, so all the gear's got to go somewhere...
I have been assured that they are getting extra beer in.And Flying'Ilovehillsonmyrides'Dodo and Mc'Snooze'Wobbles birthdays too lest thee forget..
I do hope the Waterfront has been informed so they don't run out of beer in all shades again...
