Hi,

My bike has a FSA Gossamer road chainset and FSA 6000 BB to match.

Can I change the BB (cups) to say Shimano 105 without any problems or will it be a bit of a bodge job?

Cheers

I think the BB-6000 dimensions are Shimano compatible so you should be fine. However, FSA do say that their MegaExo BBs/cranks are not compatible with anything else. Certainly I ended up having to replace both FSA cranks (SLK carbon) and BB (made of cheese) in order to upgrade to a decent Hope BB. Worth a bit of Googling I think...

Cheers. So the comment by the FSA guy at the bottom of page says the Gossamer crank is compatible with Shimano (and other shimano compatible) BBs - right?

I might just buy another BB-6000

Do you know which way round those tiny thin 'washers'/o-rings go on? They are not the same both ways round!
