full sus and mud guards

Hi All,

Probably a fairly dumb question but will these screw up my sisters full sus hybrid, I've been riding it while my bike is broken (borrowing a tool at the weekend for it) and I've forgotten how horrible riding a bike without them is (wet face and a wet arse) as I tend to involve at least some off road work and I live out in the sticks.

They're the same ones as on my bike which has a front sus only. Hers looks a lot more like a road bike particularly in the wheels (very narrow and fairly gripless off road) so the big ass mtb ones that mount onto the seatpost would look funny.

I can't find it on the giant site but its a good 5+ years old.

If you find the typical mtb mudguards a bit too chunky you could consider something like this.

hmmm they are slicker, but still not as slick as non mtb ones, will make some measurements
