I was standing in one county, but most of what can be seen is in another. Neither is Gloucestershire...

Somerset looking at Devon? If so, might have been down there recently.

I posted in the "Your day's wildlife" thread around the time I took the photo.

I've attempted to give clues to the names of one of the counties and the hill on the left. A couple of images might help further.

This is the large predatory fish:

the fish is a Moray which suggests I've not only been searching the wrong county boundary, but the wrong country too

I'm convinced this is somewhere around Knockando, due to the It's A Knockout clue... but i can't find it and looking is doing my head in.

Somebody please put us out of our misery!

But I'm on holiday and have neither the time nor the resources to look.

Knockdhu (mentioned a few posts back) and Knockando are not the same place

almost for sure. The hill is Knock Hill, the distillery is Knockdhu, and i believe the clump of woodland on the hill is called Everdark forest and the road is somewhere south... but i still can't find it!

I'd spent days looking exactly in that area but still couldn't find it so had to give up in order to preserve my sanity.
I was hoping someone else might find it.

edit... it's here! Can't see a name for the road.
