My Edge 520 was down to 2hrs in the cold weather.

Garmin offered to replace it with a refreshed unit at a cost of £94! Thought about getting the battery replaced. Bought an Anker power bank (£12.99] and a Zefal pump holder (£4.99 pair) as a back up.

After many woes with a new 820 about 1.5 years ago now Garmin swapped it out which incidentally took another 7 months I now have a factory new 820 and it’s been great 10-14 hours battery life depending on Bluetooth and mapping however as of today I’m selling for £115 as I’ve just bought the 1030 plus

These garmins having a hardwired speaker wire seem a bit daft , heck i have an explore which i cant see how the battery gets done .
My old 800 has the battery that just connects to the main board which powers the lot , i am not knocking garmin in general as im sure the rest of the manufacturers are just as bad
