Garmin Edge Touring - Map Updates

I received a Garmin Edge Touring for my birthday. I am very pleased with it. However, it appears to do a Map update just about every time I connect to my computer. The update runs and completes satisfactorily. Is anyone else experiencing these very frequent (ie almost daily) map updates?

Yep - Seem to be offered the update to version 2017.10 of the map constantly despite it already being installed. I just ignore it and only update when an actual new map update is required.

Thanks for the confirmation @Jenkins, I was beginning to think it was something I was doing wrong!

The update takes so long, I will join you in ignoring it until a new version number appears.
