phew!!! :heat:
The good news are that: a./ I paid 375 quid for it, b./ I trust I can service it myself (in the future, as it's already serviced at the moment) and c./ it will cost me, say, a chewing gum to insure?? :becool: So, in that respect I think I'm ok..
Will have to wait and see.. It will be a long weekend by the looks of it! :addict:

(I googled your motorbike.. wow.. it did look nice!!!)
£375 is just the deposit, it will want new different wheels, and then tyres, a new saddle, maybe a new chainset, cassette, then stem and seat post, once that's done you'll be think a new frame, and then the cycle starts all over again...

I dont think you'll be going far wrong with the Defy 5 at all,my wife is into her 5th week of owning one and she loves it,we got her a ladies specific Bontrager saddle and by all accounts she feels very much at home on the bike

Oh yes! I can go with that!! I'm already feeling better having a name for it! :cuppa: Thank you! And admitedly, it takes the weight off your shoulders if you have a disorder to blame, isn't it?

And now that you both mention accessories.. it has toe clip pedals.. I will have to buy clipless if I want to need new shoes, don't I??

I have a nice pair of Shimano PD M530s for sale. I've firmly given up on clipless and sticking with decent flats.

From this shoemakers perspective, it would be Louboutain over Choo any day. At least they are still maintained by the guy, who knows at least a couple of things about the craft rather than the marketing gurus behind Choo. He sold his share looooong ago.

It will be a good bike. Triathletes would not put their trisuited ar$es on anything that was not really really good^_^

that's exactly my thoughts initially.. but after the purchase the same frase haunted me: Is it the fact that triathletes wouldn't put their trisuited bums on anything that was not really good the reason why they're selling them?
