Giant FCR 1

Hi Everyone,

Following on from my previous post...

I have taken a shine to the above bike. Has anyone got this bike? Or know what the ride is like etc..?

I'd also like to know if you guys think it would be ok with a rack & panniers on the back?

Also if anyone can recommend anything similar to this bike, that would be good too!

I shall be heading down the LBS next week to give them a whirl, but any advice would be very helpful.

It's a nice bike and from what I've found Giant bikes are good, but I doubt you could fit a rear rack and panniers on the back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive got one - like it - not good for proper panniers - but i use it for light touring b&b with 44l panniers with nowt heavy in them - found it to be a little harsh but that probably because ive been riding 26 with min of 1.5 tyres - solved with sus seat post - i find it very responsive only real critism is tyre fitted as ocr are a bit like liqourice - solved by fitting shwalbe marathon
