Another cracking stage. This race is demonstrating the old adage that it’s the riders that make a race. Not a promising parcourse so far but some really good racing.

Can’t see Q36.5 getting many more wildcards based on their showing so far though. The other wildcards have been far more visible.

Yeah he’s flagging. Looked nailed on with around 14k to go.

Roglic is showing the problem when your MO is time trial well and snatch bonus seconds. You have a bad day or lose time plus someone turns up who can out sprint you on the bonus seconds and you’re done for. I don’t see him going long in the mountains to get time back.

Lack of roglicification

That kit doesn't help either ... 3rd place on the village hilltop stage where mads had a reincarnation mode power up ..was the closest pidders got .. hanging onto GC has been a waste . He got unlucky on the strade

Afternoon all, I've been out all day today - any tips on whether today was a good stage, and if so from how many km out please?
I may end up watching it tomorrow with a turbo session.

Injured or maybe just suffering more than he's let on ?
He's a tough cookie and fingers crossed he can finish the race...if not heal up for the Tour.

"Rogla didn't make any statements to the media after the stage. Journalist Dare Rupar reported that the team announced that Roglič immediately sought medical attention after the stage. 3 falls in the last week have left their consequences. We know on Monday if he continues....

I guess the plan was get him to the rest day without revealing he was hurt. If they [ineos and EF] just sat behind UAE he may have made it

The one TNT reporter chased after him as he was riding to the bus and asked him how he felt. It didn’t seem like he would answer at first but he then said he was just happy to finish. TT aside he hasn’t really looked at his best all race really, what stage did he first crash on? Was it the white roads or had he crashed previously?
