No, I live closer to Jonas these days (about 20 km from his current home), and I have never been in a (cycling) club (and Got my first race bike at age 36, when I was getting too fat).

They both rode for TCR, and at the time this photo was taken, Michael was already an accomplished junior rider - and an idol for Jonas. Michael still rides on weekends with TCR when he is home.

I have ridden TCR’s local race/sportive (En forårsdag i Thy / A Spring day in Thy) a couple of times, but pretty sure none of them were present! Too bad they have had to cancel that sportive since 2023 (most likely for good) due to the costs involved/manpower needed.

For many it was one of the first sportives in the year, usually in the beginning of April/May.
