Milan for Milan domani?

My ideal 1-2-3 in Milan Would be Jonathan Milan, Matteo Milan and Milan Fretin.

Unfortunately the latter two aren't there.

Last time we had a Milan crit mid race lance Armstrong had a tizzy fit . It has that danger factor for GC riders to get caught up in crashes

Three week training block in Italy and pick up the GT win you haven't got yet. It's quite absurd really. I'm starting to worry it won't be tough enough to actually get him in shape for the Tour. It's possible we see some longer solo rides next week, or harder efforts on final climbs if his coaches want more.

Whoever designed this as a GT stage needs sacking

There's a reason Itzulia doesn't attract a great sprinters field and with the cream of the GC talent always likely to be drawn to France, I can see why there's occasional stages like this here. I just can't see why they'd be on a day when there's the chance of a decent viewership and before a rest day.

So Jonas wins the stage and puts the best part of a minute into everyone and yet the general unimpressed murmuring is "pah! Is that all he's got?"

I blame Pog for raising the bar.

I did notice him coughing rather hard when doing his turbo cool down.

That's just a tactic to prevent him from accidentally swallowing his pride.

The guy's in a no win situation. I actually think he's been on good form commination wise but the pre determined message is that he's reserved and taciturn.

So can Eulalio hold on to white? He's got 1:53 on Pellizzari but he lost almost that much on yesterday's final.

Also, Piganzoli hung around after his work was done yesterday and moved into top 10 GC. He's third in the white jersey comp but Pellizzari has 2 mins on him.

They have 2 rest days (today and tomorrow for GC etc) so it all depends on who recovers the best.

By his own admission he has been unwell which possibly explains a slightly sub-par TT.
