The race organisers really don't help themselves sometimes. Luckily everyone stays up after yesterday.

Milan missing a few watts this year, and a second stage for Magnier

Milan too early I guess

Puzzle game procrastinator!
Quite a boring stage except for the final km...

I was interested in the Bulgarian history lesson though!

No problem with the sound today, but I had lots of picture break-up. It turned out that for some reason I was only getting a 0.5 Mb/s connection from Perth instead of the usual 30+. I switched to a server in Adelaide and that fixed the problem.

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
I saw a discussion on Instagram about whether Yates should have been allowed to continue, esp as he continued with a damaged helmet and it turned out he was concussed after all.

TBH I didn't watch all that closely as I was busy at the time, so I don't really have much opinion.

The problem with cycling & concussion is that unless you finish the stage you cant start the next one, so there is the temptation for the DS to say "well see if you can get to the finish and we can assess you properly in the morning..."

Isn't the logical solution that the doctor does an on-site assessment any time there is an obvious head collision? I'm basing this on the rider being out of the stage and GC contention in any case to time losses are irrelevant. Maybe an exclusion for the time cut-off limited to the time roadside.
