There is, in my opinion anyway, quite a big difference between discussing the pr0s and cons of wearing helmets and discussing the pros and cons of making helmet wearing compulsory. Of course the 2 will work together, but because compulsion is so emotive I think its not conducive to a rational discussion on pro/con helmets.

Anyway, I've been back on the bike for the first time in 6 weeks. More x rays in another 6 weeks to check progress and at this moment the need for surgical hook plate fixation is still a possibility. But its good to be on the bike again, albeit a little nervy at speed - feeling somethings going to jump out on me!!! :blush:

Still very glad I wore a helmet and very happy with my replacement Atmos

Nice Callus!

Take it easy though as jarring and pressure can make the site painful.
