Have managed to commute to work every day for the last 18 months, all weathers, dark, punctures, accidents, road rage the lot, I have experianced it.

I suddenly find myself struggling, lethergy, thoughts about getting the train instead, I dont seem to be as fit as I was!!!

Whats going on? I need some motivation, how do I get my mojo back? any suggestions greatly received.

Thanks DJ

Having to use public transport just once, would be enough to get my mojo back. Travelling with the great unwashed, cant think of anything worse.

Brake blocks jammed against the wheel rims. Next!

No problem with my motivation dj although i was sick once today due to coughing again, due to cold weather affecting my breathing. Also close to a chest infection which beat me in Feb 2003 and lead to me going sick and off of the bike.Reckon it was due to a heavy work schedule recently. You can do it as I did last year when I was struggling badly with my fitness and am better this year. The tube doesn't even come into the equation. How many miles do you commute?

sounds like your mojo just needs a rest. i've been off the bike for 2 months bcoz of bad weather and now it feels great when i go out. I must admit, during the latter part of that year i was getting a bit fed up. sometimes you just need a break.

Aaaargh, dont go there!! that picture alone is enough to get me going on the pedals, plus on the tube you have to begrudgingly give up a little of your own space to others where as on the bike if someone gets in my way I feel justified in screaming at them!!! Much more healthy I think:laugh:

You're not a certain Tory MP are you?
I used to hate public transport, then I realised it was just the "public" part of the equation.
