Can't comment on the ones you linked to but some of the AliExpress's 'Foakleys' are pretty good. I left my old Kaenons on my car roof and couldn't face the outlay for more. Took a punt on some Foakleys and the lenses were spot on. Was so impressed I ordered some Flight Jacket clones and they're fantastic - both polarised and mirrored lenses tested at 100% UV blocking at my local opticians and no noticeable distortion at the edges.

@Pedropete These Aliexpress frames do you know if they have the facility to put prescription inserts in them please? Thinking about taking a punt on some but would need to get my optician to glaze some inserts for my particular prescription but obviously need the Aliexpress frames to be capable of accepting them? Cheers.

Afraid I've no idea, sorry. Hadn't realised you were after Rx lenses. I imagine that if the clones were absolutely identical to an original design that accepted Rx inserts or lenses then they (the clones) might accept the same. Whether the copies would be detailed to the point of having the mounting points for inserts though, again, I couldn't say.

I know some people buy the copies and fit original Oakley lenses into them so that might be a starting point for research.

I bought a pair of (cheap) clears, that I saw in Halfords a couple of weeks ago
A good price, even if they only last for a couple of years, & even cheaper with my Blue Light Card

I still miss a yellow tint, so whilst looking for something else, I saw these on Amazon. so bought a pair too
Nice to have that colouration, but..... with no scratches!!!^_^

I can’t stand the yellow tint. I know they are supposed to be good for low light but everything looks unnatural & horrible.

With regard to my recently demised Oakleys, as stated in this thread; https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/frame-failure.251263/

I've just had this company pop up on my social media feed, and this particular item was highlighted

Has anyone bought from them?
PM if required

Thanks

I have had similar since June 2017. They cost about £18 at that time. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01E6SF...olid=2DLKOGBDNEWCG&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

They've been pretty good TBH. My uncle glazed the inserts to my prescription. I have had to reglue a bit of rubber to the frames at the eyebrow point recently but this is after almost daily use.

The standard dark sunglasses lens is polarised which is useful for fishing. Of the other lenses, I use the clear or yellow ones in winter and varying stages of tinted grey or the mirror lenses in summer. They have been good for driving too. I bought a lanyard for them.

If you needed some glasses which take inserts then I would happily buy again at £30

They look absolutely ideal @Arjimlad and would perfectly suit my needs unfortunately they’re out of stock and no info about when they might become available again? Will have to do a bit more research and see if I can source something similar. Aliexpress maybe but a bit wary about buying from them.

Very similar product - if not identical - on the link in the OP post, or indeed these ones look identical to mine apart from the brand name and are only £10.99

I got some Foakley Jaw breakers the other week. They seem very good. Three sets of lenses and
very good packaging. I paid about £14 with shipping.
