I’m so out of touch with golf that an Englishman has won a major, and I’ve never heard of him.
This just shows what happens when a sport goes PPV behind a paywall.
It loses casual supporters.
Anyway, will done to Aaron Rai, seems like a very sensible young man who has no history of golf in the family, both parents are Indian, he apparently started playing on his local municipal council course.

Maybe needs to use Pink castle tees and have a ball-washer attached to his bag to have the full ‘beginner at a municipal’ look.
