You pointed out that the camera itself was intact, yet have still to provide any proof that it came into contact no matter how many rocks the helmet itself hit, his left shoe was also probably intact!

As above the statement was NOT made by ENSA, but "a source close to the investigation" and refers to an incomplete and unreported, as yet inconclusive investigation

When you have corrected these errors, and provided any evidence that the camera mount came into contact, or that ENSA have actually made a statement, could you then please provide the statement where I have suggested that the helmet manufacturer has made these statements

There is no evidence that the camera or mount were at any time in contact

ENSA have not completed their investigation or made any statement

There is bound to be some litigation on the way. GoPro must have sold thousands of helmet mounts and yet this is the first time I have heard about them being blamed for an injury. I think his manner of skiing will be brought into question. But when you see the GoPro ads it looks like you can do anything wearing one and presumably be safe.

I wouldnt like to be a boss at GoPro just now.

I'm trying to imagine the kind of equipment his dad must have in his garage to enable you to make a miniature digital camera, and toughened case.

Now, If I went into my garage I'd be a bit stuck, there being only some bike tools, a drill, a sander, a lawnmower and some gummed-up paint rollers. And a sledgehammer.

Of course it's only a paper valuation, but still an impressive figure. Based not so much on what it's actually worth but on its potential. You can imagine someone like Microsoft or Google will come along and snap them up, which is probably what will happen.

I see far more people with their sunglasses slotted into their helmets than cameras. That seems much more dangerous than a camera outside the shell.
